Let’s get moving.
DOWN TO THE WIRE
Before a life-altering brain aneurysm, Michelle Corotan viewed motorcycling as just a way to get from point A to point B. But after a harrowing 21-day battle for survival, she emerges from a medically induced coma, forever changed. Under the expert care of Dr. Sean Pakbaz, one of the few Neurologists capable of treating her condition, Michelle wakes with a platinum wire coil implant, a symbol of her resilience and a stark reminder of her fragility.
Determined to reclaim her life, Michelle finds herself on a thrilling journey of recovery, discovering that her passion for motorcycling runs deeper than mere transportation—it’s a lifeline. As she navigates her physical rehabilitation, each twist of the throttle becomes a testament to her strength, pushing her beyond her limits.
As she prepares to return to the open road, she learns that true courage lies not only in facing her fears but in embracing the joy of living fully. Down to the Wire is a powerful exploration of resilience, the bonds we forge with our passions, and the exhilarating freedom of reclaiming life after facing death.
2021 SONORA RALLY DOCUMENTARY
On May 8th, 2021 I was booked to ride along with the Rottweiler Performance Race Team to film a documentary that followed rider, Wes VanNieuwenhuise as he competed in the 2021 Sonora Rally. The journey started in Costa Mesa, CA with Owner and Race Team Leader, Chris Parker as he packed up the Husqvarna FE 501 race bike at the Rottweiler headquarters and then follows every step of the journey to show what it takes to compete in a rally race. From traversing the challenging desert terrain in beautiful mainland Mexico, to setting up shop in the bivouac after each day of racing, we guide you through the emotional 8-day journey competing against four top factory teams and their lightning fast riders.
